Reflections of History in Energy: DCEO Feature and Video

It feels like a unique and rare time in the world and energy, when geopolitical events reveal how interconnected we really are —through the lens of energy and the Earth’s shared resources. I have chronicled this journey throughout the year, culminating in the DCEO feature “Solving Europe’s Energy Crisis.”

Human necessity and welfare is the compounding factor [in energy], more so than any other time in oil’s cyclical history. “It’s not driven by boom and busts, shortages and surpluses— but by the necessity of what energy does, including lifting people out of poverty,” says Yates.

Seeking Alpha editor Michael Hopkins interviews me about the story, and we delve into the backstory. The final content is a brief capture of the story in its entirety. The energy transition has had a course correction. This interview also discusses why invest in energy and what’s surrounding the investment thesis, especially for those reliant on publicly-traded securities.

Seeking Alpha senior editor Michael Hopkins and Jennifer Warren speak about a deeply-researched feature that captures this historic time in the world and energy.

Texas Road and Energy Musings:

Like being on the road in Texas, a ridiculously large land mass, the story seemed to never end…

A first draft had been filed, and on the road, the story was everywhere —never-ending, beckoning a continued tale.
